After reading the assigned stories I would have to say that I totally agree. I feel that if teachers salary was increased that it would make teaching more competitive and the best ones would rise while the ones that are lacking would either need to step up or be lost to the system. I feel very strong about improving the school system because I remember what it was like for me. I have A.D.D. and until I was in high school it was not a medical issue it was a discipline problem. So I was always treated as a slow student so I was put in low level classes that just made things more boring for me. So much is wrong yet it is still overlooked because those who have the money don't notice it because their kids are at private schools while those who experience it have to fight it cause they can't afford to change it.
